Join me, in the asylum, as together we go on a very odd journey of discovery in my first mental institution experience.  Enter a strangely compulsive world, that in a very off way makes sense, as I compete against the other game show contestants, in a battle to win genetic traits for my family tree.  I wrote  my 28,247 word book about my stay in a mental institution before I was diagnosed with schizophrenia, later changed to schizoaffective disorder.  As I wage combat to fight my delusions, I offer others a better understanding of mental illness and a real view of the realm of thought disorders.

This book, and website, is a look beneath the crayon mustache, the disguise delusions can use to hide and delude the mind.9 shades of gray -  adventures in schizophrenia is a book I wrote about my mental illness, and the nature of my thoughts and delusions.  I would like to show how far I fell, and since then, how successful my treatment has been and how important it is to never give up hope.

My book and poems are available for anyone to read and pass out for free, I hope they will help somebody.  I am working on new written works and I would like for this website to showcase works of art, written or otherwise, by others in the mental health community.
     Thank You and Enjoy!  -Jason
